Whether you are an experienced Mentor or looking for a new career, Anderida can offer you a career second to none. We value our staff and recognise not only their individual talents, skills and abilities; but also fully appreciate that without such a highly committed and motivated workforce, our desire to deliver a high quality service for our young people would be severely compromised.

We carefully recruit employees from a wide variety of backgrounds and age groups so that we can offer a comprehensive, dynamic and exciting mix of knowledge and experience to best support our young people. Our team are friendly, close knit, and offer each other support and encouragement. They also have a lot of fun and an excellent sense of humour! As an organisation we realise that for people to do their job well, they need training and opportunity, and we take great pride in enabling our staff to achieve their best.

We provide diplomas in youth work alongside training in first aid, restraint (positive holding) and Safeguarding to name just three, and that's just the start. We also encourage our employees to tell us if they have seen a course they would like to study. We will consider any course or qualification they wish to pursue if it is either beneficial to their role, or to the organisation as a whole. We are also extremely proud to have been awarded the Platinum Award for Investors in People!

MENTOR

FULL /BANK/ PART-TIME &
WEEKEND POSITIONS
AVAILABLE

The young people we support are vibrant, talented and full of potential. Typically, they would have experienced significant trauma and abuse; and this has a profound impact on all aspects of their lives from the social, to educational and (eventually) employment opportunities.

Our Mentors are vital to their personal development and future growth. Being a Mentor is multi-faceted: you will need to be able to maintain accurate records, be able to deal with practical problems and be pro-active in your approach to work.

But as equally important will be your ability to understand, empathise, set and maintain boundaries, motivate, encourage, support and be part of a strong dynamic team offering the stability and safety so desperately needed by our young people.

Working for Anderida Adolescent Care means you will have full support and training throughout your career.

We believe passionately in staff development and were awarded the Platinum Investors in People Award.
